Sacred Waters 2026 Retreat

Sacred Waters 2026 Retreat

Thursday 23 July – Sunday 26 July

The Alchemy of Love and Insight

This weekend retreat is an invitation to explore the interplay of kindness and clear seeing. Rather than treating the brahma-viharas and insight as separate tracks of practice, we’ll discover how they actively nourish and support one another.

We begin with a simple but profound shift in attention, exploring how Bodhipaksa’s “soft eyes, kind eyes” approach can rapidly still the mind, creating an open and receptive field of awareness. Add a little curiosity, and this field naturally deepens into a rich and joyful experience of the body’s aliveness—leading to stable, effortless absorption.

And in that state of vibrant calm and joy, we find the perfect basis for insight. Here, we can clearly recognize the impermanent and insubstantial nature of the body, heart, and mind — not as a concept, but as a living reality.

This retreat offers a practical roadmap for integrating emotional warmth, meditative stability, and liberating wisdom into a single, seamless path — inviting new perspectives on practice that you can carry with you in every moment of the rest of your life.

Led by Bodhipaksa who is a Triratna order member, author and the founder of the Wildmind community.
