Sacred Waters 2025 Retreat

Sacred Waters 2025 Retreat

Thursday 14 August – Sunday 17 August

The Dance of the Heart

A meditation retreat exploring the liberation, interconnectedness and delight of Metta (loving kindness).

Metta, a kindly compassionate attitude towards ourselves and others, no matter who they are, lies at the heart of what the Buddha teaches, helping us develop stability of the heart and mind to steer us during difficult times. There will be periods of meditation (guided and unguided), short talks, silence (in the evening through breakfast) and free times to be with others or just be.

There are opportunities for swimming and some hiking.

Led by Taraprabha and Amaradhi who are long time members of the Seattle Buddhist Center and enjoy sharing the Dharma with their community.

To support the building of a retreat community, please arrive on Thursday afternoon after 4 PM. If you have exceptional circumstances where you are not able to do this, please contact sacredwaters2025@gmail.com before registering to discuss the possible impact on the retreat community and whether we are able to accommodate this.
